Let’s talk about the Rogue—a class that’s been quietly waiting for its comeback moment. Right now, they sit in B-tier, but I honestly think they’re a sleeping giant. The Dance of Knives build is insane for clearing lower-tier content, especially when paired with Death’s Pain for massive damage multipliers. It’s fast, flashy, and makes you feel like a deadly ballet dancer.
For higher-tier content, Penetrating Shot turns you into a sniper, deleting bosses from across the room, while Flurry and Trapper setups let you maintain mobility. The recent cooldown nerfs did slow things down a bit—no more infinite combos—but that’s actually a good thing. It forces a more tactical style of play where every cooldown counts.
The Shadow Clone build remains one of the best for farming, and with strong dodge mechanics, Rogues handle tough affixes surprisingly well. I’ve had runs where enemies barely touch me because I’m constantly flipping, dashing, and striking from the shadows. It’s exhilarating.
What I love most about the Rogue is that it rewards mastery. You can’t just button mash—you need timing, awareness, and precision. It’s the kind of class that grows with you. Right now, they may not be topping leaderboards, but with the right gear and patience, they absolutely will.
